Question 1

What is KoboRadar?

Accepted Answer

KoboRadar is a money app for Nigerians. It helps you plan a monthly budget, track what you spend and earn, get warned before you overspend, and keep a clear record of your Ajo (rotating savings) with family and friends.

Question 2

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

You can sign up and look around for free. Using your own budget and expense tracking costs ₦2,000 a month. The first 100 founding members keep that price for as long as they stay subscribed. Joining an Ajo group someone invites you to is free.

Question 3

Does KoboRadar hold my money?

Accepted Answer

No. KoboRadar is a planning and tracking tool. Ajo members pay each other directly through their own banks, and KoboRadar keeps the record so everyone can see who has paid.

Question 4

Do I need to link my bank account or give my BVN?

Accepted Answer

No. You don’t connect your bank and we don’t ask for your BVN or NIN. You log your expenses yourself in a few seconds.

Question 5

How does the Ajo feature work?

Accepted Answer

One person creates the group and shares an invite link. Members join in payout order. Each round, everyone pays that round’s collector directly and taps “I’ve paid”, and the collector confirms when the money lands.

Question 6

Can I use it on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. KoboRadar works in your phone’s browser. You can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
